Supplemental Bulletin Data Policy
Facebook Bulletin (“Bulletin” or the “Service”) is a website and platform that allows you to access, interact with, and receive content created and published by independent creators (“Creators”). The Facebook Data Policy describes the information we process to support the Facebook Products, including Bulletin. This Supplemental Bulletin Data Policy supplements the Facebook Data Policy by explaining the additional information we collect, use, and share to support Bulletin (including all aspects of the website, service, and any other websites or platforms that link to this Supplement Data Policy), and by providing more detail about how we process that information.
Information We Collect
In addition to collecting the information we describe in the Facebook Data Policy, we also collect the following categories of information for Bulletin:
  • Information You Provide to Us: We collect information you provide us while using Bulletin, such as your email address when you subscribe to Creator content or Bulletin emails. We also collect information about how visitors use the Service, including the pages visited, features used, actions taken, the time, frequency, and duration of such activities, and other usage metrics described in the Facebook Data Policy. If you log in to Bulletin with your Facebook account, we collect additional information about how you use the Service, such as your interactions with Creator content (for example, comments on Creator content) and information about the types of content you view or engage with. If you use the Service to make a purchase or other financial transaction, such as purchasing a paid subscription to Creator content, we also collect information about the purchase or transaction, including payment information (such as your credit or debit card number and other card information), other account and authentication information, and billing and contact information.
  • Information Creators Provide to Us: We collect information from Creators about their existing subscribers, including contact information such as email addresses, so that we can provide the Service on the Creator’s behalf. Creators provide us with this information for those subscribers who have already agreed to engage with Creators for these purposes. Note that Creators may have their own terms or policies that apply to their use of your information and which you should review. If you believe your contact information was wrongfully provided to Facebook for provision of the Service, please unsubscribe from Bulletin emails.
  • Device Information and Data from Cookies and Similar Technologies: When you visit the Bulletin website, we collect information from and about the computers, phones, connected TVs and other web-connected devices you use that integrate with our Products, as further described in the Facebook Data Policy. We also receive data collected in or through various technologies in connection with the Service (including in emails sent to you), including cookies, pixels, and similar technologies. Learn more about how we use these technologies in the Facebook Cookie Policy.
How We Use This Information
We use the information we collect for Bulletin for the purposes described in the Facebook Data Policy, including to provide, personalize and improve the Service and other Facebook Products (including seamless integration between the Facebook Products when you log in with Facebook), to provide measurement, analytics, and other business services (including ads), to promote safety, integrity and security, to communicate with you, and to research and innovate for social good. If you choose to access Bulletin without logging into your Facebook account, then you will not receive these features of the Service.
In addition to the purposes described in the Facebook Data Policy, we use the information we collect for Bulletin in the following ways:
  • Provide Content From Creators. We will use the contact information provided to us by Creators, or by you when you subscribe to or engage with Creator content, to provide the Service, including creating and maintaining your Bulletin subscriptions, sending Creator content on behalf of Creators, and fulfilling requests for Creator or Bulletin resources, services, and information. For example, we will use subscriber email addresses to send newsletters and other Creator content, and to notify subscribers about new Creator content.
  • You can manage your email subscriptions to Creator content and other Bulletin communications by using the unsubscribe link provided in each email or through the Bulletin settings. Please note that email subscriptions to Creator content and Bulletin communications are managed separately from other Facebook communications and are controlled through the email subscribe and unsubscribe actions or the Bulletin settings, rather than your Facebook notification settings. Note that even if you change your Bulletin subscription settings for individual Creators, you may still receive important notifications about Bulletin, such as updates to our policies.
How This Information Is Shared
In addition to sharing your information in the ways described in the Facebook Data Policy, we share the information we collect when you use Bulletin in the following ways:
  • Creators. When you subscribe to a Creator on Bulletin, you direct us to share your contact information, including your email address, with that Creator so that they can interact with you as a subscriber. We will also share information with Creators about your engagement with their content, such as your comments and feedback. Unless you opt-out of Creator content, Creators will use your information subject to their own data practices, including to continue sending you their content even after they leave Bulletin. We also share aggregate statistics and insights with Creators, such as how many people read or interact with their Bulletin content.
  • Public Information. Subject to audience settings selected by each Creator, comments on Creator content are public, and -- like any other public information on Facebook Products -- can be seen by anyone, on or off Facebook Products, including if they don't have an account. Public information can also be seen, accessed, reshared or downloaded through third-party services such as search engines, APIs, and offline media such as TV, and by apps, websites and other services that integrate with Facebook Products.
Exercising Your Rights

If you have not logged into the Service with your Facebook account, learn more about how to manage your Bulletin information here.
