Bulletin Supplemental Terms of Service
Facebook Bulletin (“Bulletin” or the “Bulletin Service”) is a website and platform that allows you to access, interact with, and receive content created and published by independent creators (“Creators”). Your access to content may be free or paid, as described below. Your use of the Bulletin Service is governed by both the Facebook Terms of Service and these Bulletin Supplemental Terms of Service (these "Bulletin Terms", and together with the Facebook Terms of Service, the "Terms"). If there is a conflict between the Bulletin Terms and the Facebook Terms of Service, the Bulletin Terms will prevail. Bulletin is a Facebook Product. By using Bulletin, you agree to these Terms. If you are a Creator, your use of Bulletin will be subject to additional terms.
The Bulletin Supplemental Data Policy supplements the Facebook Data Policy, which together explain how we collect, use, and share your personal information when you use the Bulletin Service.
  1. Eligibility
    • Accurate Information: You must provide accurate information about yourself when registering to use the Bulletin Service.
    • Subscription Emails: You may subscribe to the Bulletin Service using more than one email address, so long as all email addresses belong to you.
    • Age requirement: You must be 13 years or older to use the Bulletin Service.
  2. Prohibited Conduct
  3. You may not use the Bulletin Service in violation of these Terms, the Facebook Community Standards, or any other Facebook policy or terms that apply to your use of the Bulletin Services. We may end your right to use all or any part of free or Paid Subscriptions immediately if we have a reasonable belief that you have breached these Terms, or if you are using the subscriptions in any manner other than for its intended purpose or illegally. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we will not be held liable in any way for the discontinuation or disabling of free or Paid Subscriptions, including through a refund for any partial billing period.
  4. Communications from Bulletin
  5. We may send you Bulletin promotional and marketing communications with your consent, which you may withdraw at any time by selecting “unsubscribe” at the bottom of any such communications or through the Bulletin settings.
  6. Links to Third-Party Content
  7. The Bulletin Service may contain links to third-party content. We do not control, endorse, sponsor, recommend, or otherwise accept responsibility for such content. This includes content posted by Creators related to the Bulletin Service. You understand that you may be exposed to content from a variety of sources when using the Bulletin Service and acknowledge that content may be inaccurate, offensive, indecent, or otherwise objectionable. To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree that Facebook shall not be responsible or liable for content posted by you, other users of the Bulletin Service, or Creators.
  8. Content Removal
  9. Facebook may, at our sole discretion, remove, delete or restrict access to content, including comments, that we determine to violate our terms and policies, including our Community Standards, any additional policies that apply to Bulletin, or content that breaches local laws, such as infringement of intellectual property rights.
  10. Bulletin Subscriptions
  11. When you subscribe to Creator content on Bulletin, Creators also receive your contact information (including your email address), information about your engagement with Creator content (including comments and feedback on their content), aggregate statistics and insights, and any other information you provide them. Creators may have their own terms or policies that also apply to their use of your information, which you should review. You also understand that, unless you unsubscribe from Creator content, the Creator may retain your contact information, including your email address, and may continue to contact you if the Creator leaves the Bulletin Service. To the extent permitted by law, Facebook will not be responsible or in any way liable for the actions or omissions of the Creator with respect to the use of your email or other information.
We may change or stop offering free or Paid Subscriptions at any time at our sole discretion to the extent permitted by applicable law. You are responsible for the payment of any third party additional charges that may apply to access the subscription, such as internet or data charges.
  12. Bulletin Paid Subscriptions
  13. Subject to availability in your area, you may be eligible to support Creators through paid subscriptions that give you access to content that Creators make available on the Bulletin Service (“Paid Subscriptions”). This Section applies to your purchase of a Paid Subscription.
    • The length and price of your Paid Subscriptions may vary and will be disclosed to you in the description when you sign-up for a Paid Subscription.
    • When you purchase a Paid Subscription, you agree that: (a) we will provide you with access to your Paid Subscription immediately; and (b) to the extent permitted by applicable law, you waive any statutory right you might have to change your mind about your Paid Subscription and consequently receive a refund. Nothing in this clause limits any rights you may have under applicable law, including any applicable consumer law, if and only if such rights cannot be limited or otherwise excluded under applicable law.
    • You acknowledge that Creators may change what's included in your Paid Subscription(s) from time to time, including during a subscription, to the extent permitted by applicable law. Facebook will provide you with reasonable advance notice of any material change where required under applicable law. If you do not wish to continue your Paid Subscription as a result of any such change then you should cancel it before you are committed to the next billing period. Your continued use of the Paid Subscription and/or renewal for a further billing period constitutes acceptance of those changes.
    • Creators reserve the right to change the price of their Paid Subscription, including setting a subscription fee to access previously free content, or subscription period from time to time. Facebook may disable auto-renewal for some or all Paid Subscriptions in Facebook's sole discretion. We will provide you with reasonable advance notice of any such changes and such changes will apply to you no earlier than your next renewal, unless you cancel your Paid Subscription prior to the renewal date.
    • Continued use of a Paid Subscription requires an active Facebook account. If you delete your Facebook account, you may lose access to any content obtained through a Paid Subscription.
    • Free Trial:
    • Your Paid Subscriptions may start with a free trial period. Free trials are subject to availability. The specific duration of the free trial will be specified at the point of sign-up or purchase.
    • If you agree to a free trial, you will be charged at the end of your free trial period, unless you cancel your Paid Subscription at least 24 hours before the expiration of the free trial. Where required by applicable law and payment industry rules, we will provide you with reasonable advance notice that your free trial is ending prior to the expiration of the free trial and of the terms of the Paid Subscription and remind you of your right to cancel your Paid Subscription and how to do so.
    • You agree not to register multiple times for the same promotional offer using multiple names, addresses, email addresses or other means. Any such action shall be a breach of these Terms.
    • Auto-Renewal: If you do not cancel your Paid Subscription at least 24 hours before the end of the current Paid Subscription period (or free trial period) your Paid Subscription will automatically renew. For annual subscriptions, we will send you a reminder notice prior to the renewal date stating the subscription fee for the renewal period, and we will remind you of your right to cancel your annual subscription and how to do so. If your Paid Subscription automatically renews, you will be charged the total Paid Subscription fee due for the next Paid Subscription period.
    • Cancellation: You may cancel your Paid Subscriptions, including free trials, at any time, by navigating to the subscription settings on the Bulletin website, and selecting “Payment Settings”. If you cancel, unless otherwise provided in these Terms, you will not be entitled to a refund and the cancellation will take effect at the end of your Paid Subscription period or free trial, as applicable, and you will still have access to your Paid Subscriptions until the end of the applicable Paid Subscription period or free trial. Nothing in this clause limits any rights you may have under applicable law.
    • Gifted Subscriptions: Your Paid Subscription may start through a gifted subscription. A gifted subscription does not renew at the end of the subscription period. A gifted subscription cannot be used in conjunction with a free trial or promotional subscription, unless the free trial or promotional subscription expressly states otherwise.
    • Payment for Paid Subscriptions is subject to our Community Payment Terms.
  14. Managing Your Bulletin Subscriptions
  15. You can manage your email subscriptions to Creator content and other Bulletin communications by using the unsubscribe link provided in each email or through the Bulletin settings. Please note that Bulletin communications are managed separately from other Facebook communications, and are controlled through the Bulletin subscribe and unsubscribe actions and Bulletin settings, rather than your Facebook notification settings.
Please note that when you unsubscribe from Creator content, this will not automatically cancel your Paid Subscription, to the extent you have one.
If you have logged in to the Bulletin Service with your Facebook account, you can learn how to access, rectify, port, and delete information we collect by visiting your Facebook Settings. If you have not logged into the Bulletin Service with your Facebook account, learn more about how to manage your Bulletin information here. Please note that if you have logged in to the Bulletin Service with your Facebook account and then delete your Facebook account, the data associated with the Bulletin Service may be deleted as well.
  16. Updates to these Terms.
  17. We constantly work to improve the Bulletin Service and to develop new features to make the Facebook Products better for you and our community. Accordingly, we may need to update these Bulletin Terms from time to time to accurately reflect our services and practices. Unless otherwise required by law, we will notify you by updating the Effective Date on these Terms. Your continued use of Bulletin after the effective date of the updated Bulletin Terms constitutes your acceptance of those terms.
